MOTION PLANE

The plane of movement allows for experiments concerning uniform rectilinear motion, uniformly accelerated motion, the inclined plane and electromagnetic induction. There are also 3 additional kits available which allow you to obtain graphs regarding the motions studied, study the friction between different materials and study the motions related to rolling.
The didactic interest of the experiments that can be performed with this device and the supplementary kits is manifold, in fact with it the student:
– becomes familiar with the magnitudes that characterize the aforementioned motions;
– can measure the intensity of the acceleration due to gravity and the friction forces involved;
– can study how gravitational energy is conserved and how gravitational and kinetic potential energy vary as a function of time and distance.
– learn to understand the phenomena observed in experiences through the interpretation of the distance-time, speed-time and acceleration-time graphs;
– can derive the coefficients of friction between different materials.
– learn the difference between translational motion and roto-translational motion, understanding the factors that influence the latter.
